Nancy A. (Kimberly) Jehanyar

Nancy A. Jehanyar age 90, of Defiance, died Friday, August 4, 2023 in the Laurels of Defiance.

Her Legacy… Nancy was born May 28, 1933 to Paul F. and Helen E. (Russell) Kimberly in Defiance.  Nancy graduated from Liberty Center High School and then went on to attend Davis Business College.  On June 8, 1956 she married M.A. Jehanyar, M.D.  She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Defiance.

Her Family… She is survived by her two children: Michelle Hale, Holland, OH and Joseph Jehanyar, Defiance, OH; 4 grandchildren Tyler Jehanyar (Alyssa), Josh Jehanyar, Devin Hale, Brynn Hale, and 1 great granddaughter Zaylee Jehanyar.  Siblings: Thomas Kimberly, Paula Heuer (Theo) and Mary Evans as well as many nieces and nephews also survive. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Jehanyar on December 13, 1994. Also proceeding her in death, sister-in-law Joyce Kimberly and brother-in-law Robert Evans.

Her Farewell Services… There will be a small graveside Memorial Service Saturday, September 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery in Napoleon, OH. Following the service, friends and family are invited to the 1st Presbyterian Church Defiance for fellowship.
