Agnes Buff

Miss Agnes Buff age 92, of Holgate and formerly of Continental died Friday morning, December 2, 2016 at the Vancrest Healthcare Center of Holgate.
Her Legacy… Agnes was born February 11, 1924 to Jacob V. and Minnie Agnus (Schultz) Buff in Continental. In 1942, she graduated from Continental High School. Most of her adult life was spent on the farm, raising hogs and growing crops with her father and quilting with her family. She was a member of the Pleasant Bend United Methodist Church.
Her Family… She is survived by her sister Ruth Buff Airth, Bend, Oregon and 8 nephews and 5 nieces. She was preceded in death by siblings; Lester, Lloyd, Floyd, Edna Buff Bauer, and Elnora Buff Johnson.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8:00 pm. The Celebration of Agnes’s Life will be Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Irv Leidy. Burial will follow in the Monroe Township Cemetery, Continental. Contributions made in Agnes’s memory can be made to Vancrest’s activity fund.
