Barbara "June" (Thompson) Shaver

Barbara “June” Shaver age 83, of Napoleon, died early Tuesday morning, March 11, 2014 at the Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
Her Legacy… She was born March 10, 1931 to Archie and Harriet (Pullman) Thompson in Lacey, MI. She graduated from Bellevue High School, Bellevue, MI in 1948 and went on to beauty school. June enjoyed sewing and puzzles. She was a beautician on Kolbe St., Napoleon for 36 years. She also was employed with Corvette Concepts for 12 years.
Her Family… June is survived by her sons: Robert (Betty) Shaver, Bryan, Gary (Peggy) Shaver, Napoleon and Jerry (Lori) Shaver, Napoleon; daughter, Kathy (Victor) Pedraza, Holgate; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a sister Sharon Milbourn. She was preceded in death by siblings: Harold, Earl and Helen.
Her Farewell Services… A Memorial Gathering will be in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate (419 264 0600) on Monday, March 17 at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions made in June’s name should be written to Community Health Professionals Defiance Hospice.
