Carrie L. Biederstedt, age 43, of Hamler, died at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Cener, late Thursday evening, December 6, 2012.
Her Legacy…She was born to Dan Stephan and Marolyn Pape on April 22, 1969 in Dearborn, Michigan. Carrie graduated from Marietta High School and Defiance College. She was an Account Examiner II and worked for Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission. On April 30, 1995 she married Rodney Biederstedt in Taylor, Michigan. Carrie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler.
Her Family…She is survived by her husband; parents; sister, Sherrie Siegel; brother Ferman “Skip” Pape; half sisters, Kenna and Randall Stephan; nieces, Savanna and Madison Ullman; and grandmother, Frances Tinney. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert Tinney, and Howard and Dorothy Francis Stephan.
Her Farewell Services...Carrie’s Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler with Pastor DeWitt officiating. Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-8 PM and one hour prior to services in the church. A luncheon will be served at Immanuel Lutheran Church immediately following burial in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Carrie’s honor to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
