Edmund J. Archambeault, age 69, of Defiance and formerly of Holgate died Friday evening, September 09, 2011 at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
His Legacy… He was born March 22, 1942 in Holgate to Claude E. and Marjorie (Warren) Archambeault. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holgate. He was a Holgate volunteer fireman and paramedic for the Holgate EMS. Edmund was a member of the sons of the AMVETS and an associate member of the VFW both in New Bavaria and Defiance. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose in Defiance.
His Family… Surviving is his daughter Lisa Archambeault and son Bradley Archambeault, both of Holgate; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; ex wife, Rose Archambeault, Holgate; sisters, Mary Claudella Jones, Ann Arbor, MI and Marie Masztak, Luna Pier, MI and a brother, John C. Archambeault, Defiance. Preceding Edmund in death are his parents and a brother, Warren G. Archambeault.
His Farewell Services…Friends and family will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 9:30 am where a memorial service will be at 10:30 am with Reverend C. Joseph Fifer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Holgate with the fireman's final page. Memorial contributions can be made in Edmund's memory to the family.
