Eugene Louis Budzis
April 18, 1932 — April 4, 2014
Eugene L. Budzis, age 81, of New Bavaria and formerly of Illinois, died Friday at St. Luke’s Hospital in Toledo, OH. He was born April 18, 1932 to Louis and Anna (Sobczak) Budzis in Chicago, IL. He married Rosemary Ann Martin on November 21, 1970. She passed away on November 14, 2012. Eugene was the cafeteria manager at Wrigley’s Chewing Gum Company.
Eugene is survived by sons: Roy (Laura) Adcock, IL and Ron (Heather) Walker, IL; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and brother James (Joyce) Blake, WI. He was preceded in death by son Jeffery Adcock.
A Celebration of Eugene’s life will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 4:00pm. The service will be at Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate with Reverend Susan St. Peter officiating. Military Honors will be accorded jointly by the Holgate American Legion and the New Bavaria VFW and Amvets. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for medical expenses.
