Gerry Shook

Gerry Shook, age 76, died Saturday afternoon in his Defiance home.
His Legacy… He was born March 24, 1940 to Clay and Ida (Fulmer) Shook in Sherwood. On July 25, 1969 he married Marsha Lang. Gerry was employed by General Motors in Defiance and attended the Evansport Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
His Family… He is survived by his children, Mike Keezer, Clarksville, TN, Kris (Michael) Relue, San Antonio, TX, Kari (Edward) Clemens, Defiance, Pete (Kimberli Canino) Shook, Defiance; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; brothers, David Shook, Napoleon and Jerry Shook, Defiance; and significant other, Louise Fickel, Continental. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marsha, and 8 siblings.
His Farewell Services… There will be a burial service in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Tiffin Township, Defiance on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Becky Gray officiating. Memorial contributions made in Gerry’s memory can be made to Hospice of Defiance. Zachrich Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Holgate was entrusted with the arrangements.
