Glenna L. Kelly age 92, of Holgate, died on Easter day, April 21, 2019 at Vancrest of Holgate.
Her Legacy… Glenna was born February 5, 1927 to Carl and Agnes (Reinemeyer) Ditto in Delphos. On June 26, 1954, she married J. Franklin Kelly at St. John’s Catholic Church, Delphos. She graduated from Delphos St. John’s High School . Glenna was a mom, grandma, great grandma, homemaker, farmer’s wife, Holgate sports enthusiast, lifelong Holgate Athletic Booster, avid BINGO player, kitchen manager for Kelly’s Pub and the New Bavaria VFW and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holgate and Rosary Altar Society.
Her Family… Surviving are sons; Timothy Kelly, New Bavaria, Terrance (Shelly) Kelly, Holgate, Thomas (Mary Ann) Kelly, Holgate, and Todd (Chris) Kelly, Holgate; eleven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren (and 2 on the way); numerous nieces and nephews, and sister-in-laws: Ruth Ditto, Norma Ditto and Louise Pohlman. She was preceded in death by her husband J. Franklin Kelly on May 8, 2008, sisters: Doris (Woody) Mullenhour and Marsha (Kenny) Miehls, a nephew Steven Miehls and brothers: Donald (Irma) Ditto, James Ditto, Francis Ditto, Dennis Ditto.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, Holgate on Wednesday from 3-7 pm and at 9:30 am until the service at church. There will be a Rosary service at 2:30 pm on Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:30 am with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Contributions made in Glenna’s memory can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holgate Athletic Boosters or a charity of your choice.
