Jeanette Desiree Medina age 21, of Holgate, died early Saturday morning in an automobile crash. She was born to Elva Posadas on April 27, 1991 in Napoleon. She graduated from Holgate High School in 2009 and was a healthcare aid at the Filling Home of Mercy, Napoleon. Jeanette enjoyed singing and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holgate.
She is survived by her mother Elva (David) Wyandt, Holgate; brother Alec Posadas and sister Elisiana Wyandt both of Holgate, half brother Caleb Medina of IN; and step sisters Jocelyn Wyandt and Kyra Wyandt. She was preceded in death by her uncle Jeffrey P. Lipp.
Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, Holgate on Tuesday from 2-5 and 6-8 pm. The Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:45 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holgate with Father Stephen Stanbery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Contribution’s can be made in Jeanette’s memory to the Filling Home of Mercy.
