John Lee Hespe

John Lee Hespe age 67, of Napoleon died Thursday night, December 11, 2014 at the Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
John was born March 24, 1947 to Robert L. and Mary L. (Schmidt) Hespe in Sidney, OH. He graduated from New Breman High School in 1965. On December 2, 1967 he married Nancy Moeller Hespe but divorced in 1979. In the last years of his working life, he was a boat mechanic but also worked in fiberglass and electronics for Coastal Marina in Port Clinton.
John is survived by his mother Mary; children Vance Hespe, Napoleon, Lance (Tricia) Hespe, Defiance and Leigh Ann (Russell) Smith, Napoleon; 6 grandchildren and a sister Jean Hoskins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert.
It was John’s wish to be cremated. Services will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00 am in the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, New Breman, OH with Reverend Becky Strang officiating . Memorial contributions can be made to the family or Hospice of Henry County. Arrangements entrusted to the Zachrich Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Holgate.
