Jolaine Ann Hoops

Jolaine Ann Hoops, 76, of Hamler, died Friday afternoon, October 7, 2011 at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
Her Legacy… She was born February 23, 1935 to Arnold and Laura (Kossow) Dachenhaus in Hamler. She graduated from Hamler High School in 1953. On November 21, 1954 she married Victor Hoops. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler. Over the years, Jolaine worked at Bishops Meatlocker, Barhites Grocery and Just Stop Carry Out. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting, sewing, canning, baking and spending time with her 6 grandchildren.
Her Family… She is survived by her loving husband Victor; her daughter, Julie (Kevin) Niemeyer, Hamler; sons, Mark (Lana) Hoops, Lima and Cory Hoops, Van Wert; her grandchildren, Alex, Machal, Tyler, Kathryn, Laurie and Karley. She was preceded in death by her brother James Dachenhaus
Her Farewell Services… Friends and family will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, Holgate on Tuesday from 2-4 and 5-8 pm and one hour before the services at church. The celebration of Jolaine's life will be in Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 am with Reverend Lindsey Shaner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Henry County Transportation Network, South Joint Ambulance District/Hamler Fire Department, Hope Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
