Kay F. Kuhlman

Kay F. Kuhlman age 80, of New Bavaria, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 unexpectedly in Defiance.

Her Legacy… She was born January 22, 1942 to Walter and Frances (Thomas) Schuller.  She graduated from Holgate High School in 1960.  On July 1, 1961, she married Richard Kuhlman in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Kay was a lifetime member at Sacred Heart and was also a member of the Rosary Alter Society. She was a homemaker and worked at Campbell Soup Company.  Kay enjoyed cooking and baking cookies and pies for special occasions or just for special people!  Kay loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her Family… Kay is survived by her loving husband Richard; children: Chuck (Sandy) Kuhlman, McClure, Tammy (Larry) Heuerman, New Bavaria, Marty (Carrie) Kuhlman, New Bavaria and Jill Garcia, Findlay; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and siblings: Bill Aelker, Dennis Schuller and Kathy Giesige.  Kay was preceded in death by her stillborn sister Genevieve.

Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria from 9:00 am until the Celebration of her life at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Contributions in Kay’s memory can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
