Laura Carol (Schindler) Kestner

Laura Carol Kestner age 59, died Sunday morning, March 11, 2018 in her Grelton home.

Her Legacy… She was born December 16, 1958 to John Schindler and Martha Vaughn in Napoleon.  On February 13, 1980 she married Thomas Kestner.  Laura was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister.  She was employed with Campbell Soup for 21 years and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon.

Her Family… She is survived by her husband Tom; children: Jeremy (Terri) Kestner, Sylvania, Amanda (Deric) Smith, Grelton and Tomi (Jeremiah) Farmer, Grelton; mother Martha Vaughn and step-mother Essie Schindler; 8 grandchildren; and siblings: Karen (Ron) Tobias, Kelly (Leon) Schindler and Tom (Jeannie) Lewis.  She was preceded in death by her father John Schindler, grandson Ethan Kestner, brother’s Jimmy Ray Vaughn and Ronnie John Schindler, and step-father Jim Vaughn.

Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 5-7 pm.  On Wednesday, March 14, 2018 everyone is invited back to the funeral home at 10:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00 am with Reverend James Castillo officiating.  Burial will be private in Grelton Cemetery.  Contributions made in Laura’s name can be made to the Filling Home of Mercy.
