Lily G. (Garszes) Urdiales

Lily G. Urdiales age 81, of Holgate, died Friday night, December 12, 2014 at the Henry County Hospital.
Her Legacy… She was born September 23, 1933 to Lencho and Beatrice (Zuniga) Garszes in San Antonio, TX. She married Arturo M. Urdiales. Lily was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing for others. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holgate and the Rosary Altar Society and Guadalupe Society.
Her Family… She is survived by her loving children, Debra Tores, San Antonio, TX, Arturo Benny Urdiales, Columbus, Robert Urdiales, Holgate and Danielle Cagle, Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and sisters Helen Daniels and Alvena Mills, both of San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Arturo on December 28, 1999; children: Ruben Urdiales, Diane Mullens and Delia Urdiales; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home on Monday from 2-8 pm. The Rosary will be said that evening at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Nick Cunningham officiating at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Contributions in Lily’s memory can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
