Linda L. Young

Linda L. Young age 70, of Holgate, died Monday evening, December 4, 2023 at the Defiance In-patient Hospice Center.

Her Legacy… She was born January 1, 1953 to Harry and Lois (Boyee) Young in Defiance.  She graduated from Holgate High School in 1971, Northwest Tech and the Defiance College in 1993.  She worked for the Defiance College in the administration department.  Linda was a member of the Holgate United Methodist Church and attended the Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon.

She was a member of the Holgate American Legion Auxiliary, the garden club and the Eastern Star.  Linda enjoyed singing and playing the organ, gardening and traveling (especially to state capitols).

Her Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home, Holgate on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 12:00 pm until the Celebration of Linda’s life at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be private next to her parents in Ayersville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Holgate Community Library or a charity of your choice.
