Marilyn Jean Eichar

Marilyn Jean (Miller) Eichar of Napoleon, died Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the Henry County Hospital.

Marilyn was born to John and Nellie (Priest) Miller in Toledo. The first years of her life she spent near Weston attending the school there and the Methodist church.  Later she lived near N. Baltimore, Traverse City, MI, McClure, San Bernardino, CA and Leipsic before retiring to Napoleon.  On April 10, 2002 she married Reverend David H. Eichar in Albion, IN.

She is survived by her children: Pat Walters, Napoleon, Richard (Yvonne) Kepling, Weston, Sheryl (Ray) Mattox, Van Buren and Dale Light, Philippines; 21 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren (with 4 on the way).  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reverend David Eichar, son Jeff Light and daughter Pam Schweibert.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home of Holgate at 1:00 pm.  Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
