Marilyn Anne Guelde, age 83, of Hamler, died Tuesday morning, February 4, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Defiance.
Her Legacy… She was born in Deshler on August 22, 1930 to Clarence and Noala (Baughman) Trutt. In 1956, she married Tony Guelde. Marilyn worked at Marathon Oil, Findlay and Thatcher Insurance, Deshler. She was a Grand Representative to Vermont in the Eastern Star, Deshler, a member of the Hamler Library Board, and a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Hamler.
Her Family… She is survived by her sons, Jay Guelde, Hamler and Doug (Marti) Guelde, Bowling Green, KY; 3 grandchildren, Molli, Gabe, and Leah, all of Bowling Green, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony in 1996 and brother, James Trutt.
Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 11am-1pm. The celebration of Marilyn’s life will be private following visitation at 1:00 pm in the funeral home, with Reverend Tamara Wood officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made in Marilyn’s honor to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Hamler Library, or to the donor’s choice.
