Marilyn Irene Hohenbrink

Marilyn Irene Hohenbrink age 86, of Holgate, died Thursday evening, June 7, 2012 at Vancrest Healthcare Center of Holgate.
Her Legacy… She was born to Frank and Theresa (Weisbecker) Hohenbrink in Holgate on August 23, 1925. She graduated from Holgate High School in 1943. Marilyn worked 35 years with All Star Products in Defiance working with radio condensers. In 1978 she began worked with the Henry County Health Department as the Deputy Registrar retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. Marilyn was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 340 and a past president of the Ladies Democratic Party.
Her Family… She is survived by her sister Margaret Powers, Holgate; 8 nephews and 3 nieces. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Schueller, Dorothea Wahl, Annette Powers and Judy Hohenbrink and a brother Paul Hohenbrink.
Her Farewell Services… Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 16 , 2012 at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holgate with Father Tom Leland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A luncheon will follow in St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Contributions can be made in Marilyn’s memory to Talking Books for the Blind Society.
