Marjorie June (nee Russell) Bollinger age 89, died Sunday morning, July 21, 2013 in her daughters Napoleon home surrounded by family.
Her Legacy… She was born January 8, 1924 to Fred and Elizabeth (Swallow) Russell in Bellville, OH. She graduated from Bellville High School. On April 14, 1946 she married George Lowell Bollinger in Covington, KY. He died in February of 1991. Marjorie graduated from Ohio State as a Registered Nurse working for the Ohio State University Hospital, Richland County TB Sanitarium, and the Mansfield General Hospital. She was a member of the Bellville American Legion Auxiliary, life member of the Holgate American Legion Auxiliary, ANA, American Red Cross (life member), Sunday school teacher, and a girl Scout leader.
She will be missed by her loving family; daughters, Rebecca (Erwin) Ganske, Napoleon and Judith (Charles) Burchfield, Marblehead: 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Ruth Ivy Bollinger and siblings, Lois Maglot, Helen LeMon, Norma Carter, Jean Stricker, Albe Russell, Fred Russell, Don Russell, Donald Louis Russell Edward Russell and Harvey Russell.
Her Farewell Service… There will be a memorial service at a later date with interment in the Lexington Cemetery. Contributions made in Marjorie’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army or Hospice of Henry County in care of the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate, OH 43527.
