Mary Lee (Hornung) Huber
August 25, 1959 — May 30, 2014
Mary Lee Huber age 54, of Hamler, died Friday afternoon, May 30, 2014 at the Defiance Regional Hospital.
Her Legacy... Mary was born August 25, 1959, the daughter of Lee and Jean (Snyder) Hornung. On November 30, 1985, she married Marvin C. Huber. She was a very active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler. Mary was in the Ladies Guild, Lutherans For Life, funeral committee, VBS committee, church holiday activity party planner, a Prayer Warrior and volunteered with the Orphan Grain Train. She was a member of the Holgate American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, baking, garage sales, couponing and above all, spending time with her family.
Her Family... She is survived by her loving husband and children; Jenny Huber, Findlay, Joey Huber, Findlay, and Emily Huber at home; and her sister, Debra (Randy) Zachrich, New Bavaria. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her Farewell Services... Friends will be received in the Zachrich Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate (419 264 0600) on Monday from 2-8 pm and one hour before the church service. The Celebration of Mary's Life will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler with Reverend Douglas DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Contributions made in Mary's memory can be made to: The Ronald McDonald House, Orphan Grain Train, Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
