Nancy Schuller, a beloved community member and dedicated family woman, was born on October 15, 1948, in Napoleon. She graduated from Holgate High School in 1966 and pursued her passion for beauty, receiving a certificate from the Ma Chérie Beauty School in Toledo. For more than 30 years, she worked as a hairdresser starting out at Michaels' Hair Designs and then opening her own shop in New Bavaria. Nancy also owned Carousel Cakes, Flowers and Tanning for a decade, where she channeled her creativity and love for decorating and flower arranging into her business.
Nancy was a feisty individual, known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment to her family and community. She loved hosting 4th of July and Christmas every year for her extended family. She loved playing cards, gambling at the casino and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband loved to travel and always took yearly vacations while her kids were growing up. She spent lots of time in Florida and loved being out west with numerous trips to the Grand Canyon. A proud member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance, she actively participated in her church; arranging flowers, decorating for Christmas and working with the furniture bank. Additionally, she was a dedicated member of the Henry County Right to Life, advocating for causes that were close to her heart. On July 1, 1967, Nancy married Dennis N. Schuller, and together they built a loving home filled with laughter and faith. She is survived by her husband, Denny; her children, Stacy Schuller of New Bavaria, Stephen (Liza) Schuller of Napoleon, and Casey (Chastity) Schuller of Monclova; and her cherished 8 grandchildren; Noah, Donnie, Taylor, Rylie, Aniles, Lexa, Skylar, Cason and one greatgrandchild; Donnie. Nancy believed that the family you choose and has chosen you in life is a special kind of bond that she shared with Mike Wenner, Justin Trembach, Noah Kerlin and Wendy Saille, further enriching her life with meaningful relationships. Nancy's friends were also very special to her.

Nancy wrote "love is so powerful it hurts but it makes your heart so big, that by the end of your life you can't count the people and things that you love, it just keeps growing. In the end you are all a part of each other and it never leaves you. I will always be a part of each of you and will never leave you. Think of me when you see all the things that I love and I will be there with you. All my love, Nancy."
