June Dirr 91, of Cridersville, died Wednesday morning, December 7, 2011 at Otterbein - Cridersville.
Her Legacy… She was born June 9, 1920 to Lavon and Pearl (Fenter) Peck in Defiance. She graduated from Defiance High School in 1938. On August 31, 1940, June married Irvin Dirr. She was a homemaker, was employed at the Cooper 5&10 in Holgate, the Dirr Biler Oil Company in Holgate as a bookkeeper and was a member of Holgate United Methodist Church.
Her Family… She is survived by her sons, Larry (Roberta) Dirr, Hamler and Loren (Susan) Dirr, Monclova; grandchildren, Tony (Kim) Dirr and Amy Dirr and great grandchildren Morgan and Alisha Dirr; step grandchildren Brian (Tracy) Provo and Bridget Green and step great grandchildren Payton and Luca Provo and David and Chelsea Green. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Irvin whom died on April 24, 2006.
Her Farewell Services… Friends and family will be received in the Holgate United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:00 am with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Tony Dirr officiating. Burial will be at a later date but everyone is invited to the luncheon in the church basement. Contributions can be made in June's memory to the Holgate United Methodist Church.
