Rebecca Mullett

Rebecca Ruth Mullett age 75, of Defiance died Tuesday morning surrounded by family at the Defiance Area In-patient Hospice Center.

Her Legacy… She was born June 10, 1947 to Robert G. and Ruth C. (Stager) Binkley in Zanesville, Ohio.  She graduated from Holgate High School in 1965. Rebecca was interested in music, so she attended the Wittenburg College.  On June 20, 1966, she married Vernon W. Mullett in Ferrell, PA.  She was a homemaker, member of the Defiance Eagles and Citizens In Action, Defiance.  Rebecca was a member of Zion’s Lutheran Church and the bell choir.

Her Family… She is survived by her husband Vern; children: Michelle and Chad Robinson, Brecht and Sarah Mullett, Michael and Stephanie Mullett, Katee Meaghan (Andrew Wannemacher) Mullett and Johannes and Erika Mullett; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 3 siblings.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her Farewell Services… Friends will be received in the Zachrich Family Funeral Home, 114 William Street, Holgate on Sunday, September 25 , from 2-5:00 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church.  The celebration of Rebecca’s life will be on Monday, September 26 , 2022 in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Holgate at 11:00 am with Pastor Juli Lejman-Guy officiating.  Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Leipsic.  Contributions in Rebecca’s memory can be made to the Defiance Area In-patient Hospice Center or the Zion’s Lutheran bell choir.
