Valerie "Joanie" Killion

Valerie "Joanie" Killion, of Coldwater, OH and formerly of New Bavaria, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 in her Coldwater home.
Her Legacy… She was born September 9, 1939 to Arthur and Evelyn (Reed) Mitchell. She graduated from Malinta Grelton High School. On June 16, 1963 she married Harold "Tony" Killion in Defiance. Joanie was a bartender at the New Bavaria VFW for over 20 years. She was a member of the Moose in Defiance.
Her Family… She is survived by her daughter Pam (Kevin) Thomas, Coldwater, OH; 2 grandchildren; and a brother Kenny Mitchell, Lima. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony in 2001 and her son Terry Killion in 1983.
Her Farewell Services… Friends and family will be received in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 am for a graveside service with Reverend Susan St. Peter officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to State of the Heart Hospice, 810 W. Main Street, Coldwater, Ohio 45828.
