William L. Muncy

William L. Muncy age 64, of Hamler, died Monday evening, November 6, 2017 at the Henry County Hospital, Napoleon.
His Legacy… William was born June 5, 1953, the son of Elmer and Emogene (Moore) Muncy in Coeburn, Virginia. William graduated from Napoleon High School and attended Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, Kentucky. On January 14, 1976 he married Nina Honaker at Mt. Calvery Baptist Church in Ayersville by Ed Johnson. William was pastor of many churches for 27 years including being the first to pastor at the 1st Baptist Church, Holgate.
His Family… He is survived by his loving wife, Nina; daughters, Heather (Sean) Wood and Tamera Muncy; son, Matt (Corina) Muncy; grandchildren, Levi, Alexis, Jared, Emma, and Chase Muncy, Alexzander and Hayleigh Wood, and Malaria Panigua and Presley Bear; mother, Emogene Muncy; and siblings, Leonard Muncy, Silas Vance, and Harry Quinn Sanders, and Sandra Vickars. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Muncy and his brother, Lonnie Muncy.
His Farewell Services… Friends will be received in 1st Baptist Church, Napoleon on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm. The service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Charles Alley officiating. Contributions made in William’s name can be written to Nina to decide later.
